BENLEE Donates $50,000 to Woodward Dream Cruise

June. 12, 2007

ROMULUS, Mich., June. 12, 2007- BENLEE, Inc., owned by Detroit-based industrialist Gregory W. Brown since 2005, stepped forward this week to donate $50,000 dollars to the Woodward Dream Cruise, after learning about the need for additional sponsorship on a radio news cast. Mr. Brown immediately called into the radio station to help support one of Detroit’s most well known events.

“When I heard about the need, I felt Detroit could use a ‘Good News’ story, so I thought I would be the one to make it happen. I have driven in the Dream Cruise for many years and know that it brings great people and positive news to Detroit, so I wanted to be part of making this a first class event.”, said Mr. Brown. Mr. Brown and his family have lived in the Birmingham area for almost 20 years, about 1.5 miles from Woodward Avenue. He and his family have been part of the Dream Cruise event in his 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible since the beginning of the event in the 1990s.
